Pizzaria Randall

We invited the Elders (missionaries from our church) over for dinner on Sunday/ Valentine's Day. We decided to do something interesting and fun. I think next time we'll have to work some kinks out to make it go faster, but it was really fun for me cooking with my husband and churning out custom made gourmet pizzas with homemade crust!

Our order form.

Two slices of my veggie pizza. I forgot the pineapple!

Actually, the recipe I have been using was just posted on sugardoodle a couple of days ago.

I use the 5 min. Artisan bread recipe, but instead of letting the dough rise, I roll it out on top of generous amounts of cornmeal and then top it. I cook it on a pizza stone at about 475-500 degrees. I'll email you the recipe booklet I have... it's a pdf.

:) Except for the crust, I rarely follow any sort of recipe for pizza. BUT... I kinda used this as a guide.

The sauce was a quite bland (but I subbed garlic powder), so I think I'd add some salt, and maybe some powdered ranch dressing mix to snazz it up some. I think I put zucchini, tomatoes, red bell pepper, artichoke hearts, baby spinach (put that right on top of the sauce) and I actually put some canadian bacon on mine. Chicken would be excellent, and I wish I'd put pineapple and some sort of pepper.
