July 4th

So, that was some of the fireworks we saw last week at our early fireworks show.

Saturday morning, we got up early to go to the Annual 1st ward (ok, so it's Saginaw now) 4th of July Breakfast. It was great to see family, friends, and familiar faces. Ever since I was a kid, every year we would go to this traditional event. (B. E. makes the best pancakes) Yesterday as I talked with my Grandpa A. about it, he let me know that my Grandma A. started the tradition about 54 years ago. I never new she was the one who started it, which makes it all the more special to me now that I know!
